General Profile :
This is a communications and marketing generalist position with a strong emphasis on graphic design/digital communications.
This position will be part of a team dedicated to supporting time-sensitive sales campaigns and strategies in support of a robust sales organization.
Maintain intranet presence supporting team's ongoing campaigns.
Help create presentation and internal marketing/communications material.
Coordinate email communications/distribution using Company platforms including Exact Target, Eloqua and a Corporate Messaging Distribuion Application.
Coordinate voiceblast communications with third party vendor.
Coordinate enrollment in various projects using survey tools.
Extract and analyze results.
Coordinate conference calls.
Coordinate procurement of third-party articles.
Assist with proofreading / fact checking.
Assist with adhoc mailing/distribution fulfillment.
Assist with video production, full cycle -- from video capturing to editing and distribution.
Functional Knowledge :
Bachelor Degree Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience Knowledge of full Microsoft Office suite, in particular Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products, in particular Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Premiere.
Basic understanding of HTML needed to work within company's content management application.
Other key disciplines revolve around creating powerful presentation and marketing materials, such as PowerPoint presentations, short length videos, and traditional paper-based marketing pieces.
Experience in app development a plus.
Experience with email and voice distributions a plus.
Demonstrated ability to understand life insurance and other financial product concepts.
Problem Solving :
The team often conducts programs requiring enrollment from agents and Field enrollment.
Developing the methodolgy required to ensure that all variables are taken into account presents a host of challenges.
Then, extracting data and presenting it in an easy-to-read fashion suitable for a layperson is also required.
Decision Making/ Nature of Impact :
This position monitors the team email inbox.
This inbox contains messages from the Field, generally in response to some activity related to our teams campaigns.
This role is required to make decisions on how to respond appropriately.
Communication Requirements :
In maintaining the team's intranet presence, the positioning of material is carefully considered based on priority factors such as deadlines, specific sales needs, etc As a member of the Sales Communications team, these decisions are discussed and planned carefully -- but this position would make initial recommendations and fulfill the updating of the page.
