Wilson Elser's White Plains office currently seeks a Commercial Litigation Paralegal who possesses the below.

Qualifications
o Must have a bachelor's degree; paralegal certificate preferred
o General bank defense litigation experience, including negotiable instruments and payment systems, is strongly preferred
o As an alternative to general bank defense litigation
Experience:

years of demonstrable experience drafting notices of motions, supporting affidavits and memoranda of law, discovery demands and responses, and orders in non-banking defense litigation
o Must have high level analytical, research, and writing skills
o Comfortable dealing with clients in obtaining relevant documentation and preparing reports and case summaries
o Ability to integrate into a fast-paced environment
o Must be highly motivated, a self starter, and demonstrate strong organization skills
Responsibilities
o Preparing legal documents
o Obtain and analyze documents from clients, parties, and non-parties.
o Preparing chronologies, summarizing, and identifying for use at depositions, mediations, arbitrations, trials and in motions, and for production to adversaries
o General case management
o Preparing case summaries and reports for clients
o Lexis, E-law, Internet and other legal, fact and social media research
