The .Net Developer will be assigned challenging projects to help expand existing infrastructure, porting over applications from legacy and working on the next generation of products for a technology driven company that gives all employees regularly scheduled training.
Will design and develop an assigned software engineering task either related to new development, or enhancements to an existing product/service.
Requires strong experience with C#, .net and must know programming patterns (i.e. Singleton, Repository, etc.) and worked with frameworks such as asp.net and MVC. Web experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
o Designs and develops manageable, scalable, reliable, and secure Windows- and web-based applications
o Strongly supports/promotes/implements a component-based architecture
o Participates in the delivery of solutions by estimating, planning, designing, and implementing distributed software architectures and solutions
o Designs and creates written technical specifications in response to business requirements documents
o Leads/Mentors in the use of structured development methodologies, Microsoft tools and methodologies, best practices, frameworks, etc.
o Ensures consistency, accuracy and compliance with enterprise technology strategy and security standards
o Assists in the definition of application engineering principles, standards, best practices, patterns and frameworks
Experience:
o 3
years in design and development of Windows and Web application - Experience must include developing solutions using .NET, ASP,
o 1
year of hands on .NET experience, including completion of at least one .NET project
o 2
years experience in an object oriented programming language
o Full software development life cycle (SDLC) experience including requirements analysis, user interface design, test planning and systems integration testing
o Experience with web services, windows services and XML development
o Strong understanding of industry best practices in software development including change management, release process, and software development methodologies
o Expertise in multi-tied applications and object oriented component analysis, design and development (OOA, OOD, UML)
o 1-2 years
experience in web technologies, with the creation of .NET with C# websites and web applications
o Experience in converting requirements from an Object Oriented approach using UML (Use Cases, Class Diagrams, and Sequence Diagrams) and data models in to a .NET implementation
Additional:
o Ability to excel in a team-based environment
o Strong knowledge of current trends standards and practices
o An understanding of .Net technology, Interoperability, Multithreading, Windows components deployment, and a solid grounding in object-oriented design concepts - with a strong emphasis on application security and MS development tools and direction
o Working towards one or more of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) or Microsoft Certified Application Developer (MCAD)
o Strong work ethic, independence and dependability
o Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem resolution
o Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly changing environment
o Self-motivated; able to work independently with minimal direction
o Ability to present information and ideas clearly and concisely
o Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required. Attention to detail is a must.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
