Tax Manager Top entertainment business management firm is seeking an experienced Tax Manager.
The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee client service work in the areas of business management and taxation.
ResponsibilitiesPreparation and review of complex, multi-state tax returns (individual, S corporation, C corporation, partnership, estate and trusts)Stay abreast of changing state and federal laws, policies, economic/political climate which may affect clients' financesSupervise and review staff accountant's preparation of moderately complex tax returnsConduct tax research and multi-jurisdictional planningAct as a coach and trainer to develop staff members into efficient and effective client team members, and address performance issues and concerns as neededAssist partners in identifying and onboarding prospective clients The Successful Candidate With Possess The Following Qualifications6
years of experience in accounting and taxation for high net-worth individualsExcellent communication skills (in person, on the phone, and via email)Sense of urgency and demonstrated ability to follow throughCommitment to professionalism and accuracyBachelor's degree in finance or accounting; Masters in taxation preferredActive CPA license highly preferredExperience with Datafaction and GoSystems software is highly preferred Prior exposure to royalties, touring services, music publishing and record label administration is highly preferredSalary is competitive based on experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
