Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist II

The Accounts Receivable & Collection Specialist II is responsible for collection of customer accounts, providing prompt and accurate support to customers, sales representatives, field service representatives, and other company staff, Application of payments to customer accountsWORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
Works closely with Field Sales Force, Order Administration, Customer Service Department, Field Service, Accounting.
Essential Functions:
Handle heavy direct customer Telephone Collection (80%) of past due invoices.
Resolve customer problems with their accounts for all or any invoices/billings or cash applications.
Handle heavy incoming phone coverage to resolve customer problems with billings/payments.
Process daily and/or month-end Account reconciliations - spread sheets such as the daily cash log, as needed.
Cash Application of payments to customer's account via Lockbox, direct mail, wire, credit cards.
Review/prepare customer refunds for duplicate payments, over payments, and payments to incorrect CZ company Account reconciliations including Affiliate accounts Account review for credit releases Note:

Job Requirements :
Three (3) years equivalent experience.
AA degree in Finance or Business, preferred.
Professional/commercial collection exp rience a plus.
Must have the ability to define and solve problems.
Must be self-motivated, work independently with minimum supervision, and be an effective team player.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
PC or data entry experience required, with Excel and Word knowledge.
SAP/CRM experience a plus Accounting background preferred.
The hourly pay range for this position is $25.
00 - $31.
00The salary offer for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
This position is also eligible for a performance bonus.
